Eggnog Punch with Coffee  with: Sheree DeLorenzo

This is a perfect drink to serve at a holiday or winter party since your guests can just help themselves. The ingredients are coffee, Sherry, Brandy, whipped cream, ground nutmeg and as an added twist, Sheree DeLorenzo adds coffee ice cream. The ice cream will help cool the drink as well as add a richer flavor. You can make this non-alcoholic by just eliminating the Sherry and the Brandy. You can also make this punch in a few minutes so wait until shortly before your guests arrive.

Ingredients

1 half-gallon eggnog
3 cups coffee, cooled
1 quart coffee ice cream
1 cup Cream Sherry
1 cup Brandy
1 quart whipped cream
Ground nutmeg to taste

Instructions

1. Add eggnog to a punch bowl.
2. Add coffee, ice cream, Sherry, Brandy, and whipped cream. Using the ladle, mix ingredients by stirring.
3. Serve in punch glasses and garnish with a spoonful of the whipped cream and a dash or two of nutmeg.
